From the farm to your table
Caffe Bene built a «farm to table» system that brings the perfect bean from the field to your cup. Under a dedicated supply agreement with IPANEMA, Brazil’s largest coffee farm, we directly control the beans supplied to every café - with beans also sourced straight from Bolivia and Papua New Guinea - so guests get the best coffee fresh, at a fair price.
Medium roast: delicious to the last drop
Roasts are classed light, medium and dark. Medium roasting preserves the distinct character of beans from different origins, which is why coffee lovers prize it. Our medium-roast coffee draws out the bean’s own flavour fully - and holds it even as the cup cools. Perfect to the last drop.
Our craft: roast first, blend after
Our «roast first, blend after» method keeps each origin’s character intact. Blending before roasting is the cheap and simple way, but it muddies the flavour. Roasting each origin separately takes far more work - and makes far better coffee.
A roastery with modern equipment
Commissioned in 2010 to make the best coffee from the best beans. Q-graders cup every lot to keep the taste consistent, and production runs through 13 stages - four for cleaning, four for quality control. The roastery can produce 1,008,000 kg of beans a year, about 25.2 million cups, with climate-monitored storage and a master roaster’s logging system behind every batch.
